Introduction to Evaluation (2.5 days)

This course is useful for anyone thinking about becoming an evaluator, working with an evaluator, and/or overseeing an evaluation. It introduces the basic overview of how to conduct an evaluation while focusing on the various types of evaluations that are conducted, reasons for conducting them, and methodologies that can be used. Participants will gain a better understanding of the steps in conducting evaluations while working on their own evaluation plan.

From Logic Model to Evaluation Plan (2.0 days)

This 2-day workshop follows the Introduction to Evaluation workshop and can be taken in conjunction with it or as a stand-alone workshop. In this workshop participants will develop detailed logic models that accurately depict the theory of change associated with their programs and use their models to identify evaluation needs and methods that will assess program outcomes.

Surveying

Introduction to Surveying (2.5 days)

Designed for anyone who needs to develop and implement a survey, whether for an educational program or as part of a business effort, participants in this 2.5-day course will review critical literature regarding research-based best practices in survey design and follow these guidelines while working on their own survey.

Assessing Survey Reliability (0.5 days)

Assessing survey reliability is a critical step in the survey process to ensure that the data you collect are reliable. To ensure that your survey is of the highest quality, this half-day workshop will teach you how to construct the best questions based on your particular needs and analyze your response data to determine its reliability. This course follows the Introduction to Surveying course and can be taken as an additional course or as a standalone course.

Consulting

Starting and Succeeding as an Independent Consultant (2.5 days)

This 2.5-day course is designed for anyone who is interested in consulting or already a consultant. This workshop will teach you the skills needed to make it as a consultant, whether marketing your unique skills or finding potential clients, allowing you to generate more revenue while creating a better brand.
